Darkly by Leila Taylor

While curating some gothy delights I was reminded of the book, Darkly by Leila Taylor which I read and really enjoyed when it first came out. It takes a personal and historical look at the gothic in America from an intersectional lens of race, gender, and culture. The haunting, the call, is coming from inside the house.
