Reykjavík Art Museum Ásmundarsafn

Ásmundur Sveinsson designed and lived in this esoteric building which houses the sculptors work of life, while weaving in contemporary art exhibitions. The space is treated like a home, where as soon you enter you are greeted by a kind human who is genuinely engaged in conversation, gives you an overview, offers you coffee, and more. It's a little farther away from the city center but walkable if you have good winter boots.
